E. Vaughn Jones

E. Vaughn Jones served as organist-choirmaster of Christ Church from 1978 to 1988, and returned to the parish in August 2003 after a 15-year absence. Vaughn is a native of St.Joseph, Missouri and has lived in the Bay Area since 1974. He is a member of the board of the San Francisco chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and a graduate of the Conservatory of Music, University of Missouri at Kansas City. He has studied organ with Richard Purvis in San Francisco and Jean Langlais in Paris.
